I don't think they change the oil very often. I feel like I want to vomit after having haddock & chips from there. Chips undercooked, Fish was fresh but the oil definitely wasn't. I could have been going every week but won't ever go back. Best to provide a quality service if you want people to come back.

I was in the area after dropping my passenger off from London. I wanted some fish and chips before heading back. I saw Cowplain fish bar had very good reviews so chose them. The cod was very nice. Very very fresh large pieces of succulent cod which melted in my mouth. Very happy and I recommend 👌🏼
