The standards and the quality of Costa have definitely gone down. Not really much to say besides it was okay. The food and drinks didn’t really blow me away as much as they have in the past. The staff weren’t rude but they didn’t smile and they did not seem like they wanted to be there.

Every coffee I have had from this Costa branch has been bitter, doesn’t seem like they put any syrup in. I have had multiple hot and iced coffees. Recently I have tried the pecan lattes, maple lattes, maple iced coffee and more. All of them should be sweet but they taste just like a bitter coffee with zero sweetness and flavour. The cashier that served me was a bit rude. I said thank you as she gave me my coffee, she then looked at me and just continued talking to the other person behind the counter.

Great service every time. The best Costa Coffee shop I've been in. Would highly recommend this Cramlington branch. Staff are always friendly, happy and ready to help. Quick and efficient service.
