Bebe and Ashley are have exceptional service and should be promoted! I had a bad experience with a senior member of staff , I just avoid this person as I only have returned because of great service from Bebe /Dede and Ashley , they always know my order and are kind and understanding

Having been a regular customer here for over a decade, I found the old staff far better and this Caffè Nero site feels very tired compared to other shops. I visited yesterday evening for the second time in months and I can't say that I was impressed by the customer service. I'm not sure what happened to the original baristas but the new staff (incl. trainees) are not matching the same vibes and the level of customer service usually provided here. Mind you it feels like this in most of the coffee shops across Croydon Town Centre and I don't visit here as regularly as I used to.

I visited Caffè Nero today and ordered a coffee and a matcha. Unfortunately, both drinks were very disappointing—they were served ice cold and clearly not up to the usual Caffè Nero standard. I’ve had much better experiences before, so this was quite surprising. I hope more care is taken in the future to maintain consistency and quality.

I think I'm being generous with a 3, more like 2.5. The best thing about this place is that it is open fairly late and I like Nero coffee, that said, some of the staff never smile and don't make you feel welcome. I appreciate that they must get tired but even a weary smile is better than no smile at all. I did find the Eastern European baristas much more friendly but after Brexit they are now a rare sight, which is a shame.
