Well run spacious pub retaining some of its between the wars era character. Recently sensitively redecorated with a pleasant outdoor seating area at the front. Holt's Bitter regular real ale plus a seasonal Holt's beer sometimes. A good place for sports TV though this does not dominate.

Considering (believe it or not) that we have lived in crumpsall since 1999, this was the first time we have ever stepped foot inside this pub. I felt like I'd stepped back in time and was in the Woodlands Pub (if anyone remembers it). We loved the decor, pictures and music and, it brought back fond memories. Will definitely stop by for a quick one again

Got sports on all day every day they have a sports lounge big screen as well as tv's they have an up stairs for functions Birthdays and weddings. This was my GFriends uncles wedding had a Dj and food layed on, it's a big pub so plenty of room for a do.
