I like the cathedral quarter because its got some fantastic restaurants mainly independent ones which deserve a visit. And the cathedral its selfe is definitely worth a visit if you are lucky you can see the falcons!

The Cathedral Quarter is really Derby's old town with many building dating from the 16th and 17th Centuries and a number grade one or two listed including the Cathedral itself. The Museum of Making in housed in the world's oldest mechanised factory, the Derby Silk Mill. Derby Market Hall is a Victorian masterpiece.
