We walked from Mossley to the Navigation Inn on a lovely bridal path and canal walk and it was a lovely little treat to stop off and have a drink. It's very dog friendly so that's a huge bonus, Eileen, the new landlady even gave Bella lots of fuss and some treats, which we appreciated! Eileen is a pub girl through and through and knows her stuff, we chatted about the area and different ales etc, she was extremely friendly and welcoming! We didn't have any food but smelt and saw the food others had been served and it looked amazing, unfortunately we had tea plans but my other half wants to try

Lovely pub, staff was so friendly, made you feel right at home. You can tell how much they care about the customer experience, from the warm welcome to the food and the atmosphere was all 5 stars. Food was delicious, would definitely recommend, portion sizes are huge too. Was very impressed!!

Went on Valentine’s Day and had the Valentine’s Day menu, which flexibly was two or three courses. We both had salt and pepper chicken wings to start, and steak for the main. All delicious! The only problem was we didn’t have room for dessert as the portions were so generous.
