That was so delicious. I had the Sunday roast with beef, it was so good. The red cabbage was spiced perfectly with star anise, the beef was sliced delicately and tender, potatoes roasted by a professional and a huge fluffy Yorkshire pudding all covered in gravy. I’m so full and satisfied. I tried a chip of my wife’s fish and chips and wow, I love this place. You can sit outside over the river and dogs are welcome. The service was spot on, I just can’t say enough of how great everything was. It’s a definite 5 stars plus more if I could give them.

Was a perfect day to discover this lovley, modern interior gastro pub. Great menu, great selection of drinks for venu size, and staff were wonderful. A nice little out door area to enjoy the rare spring sun.

Had a beautiful Xmas lunch today. I had vegetable filo parcel with trimmings and a delicious cherry pie for dessert, my wife had skewered prawns for starters and bass for mains. Absolutely delicious. James the waiter was very attentive and polite. Chef Matt thanks for a lovely meal. Tasty as always

Sadly disappointing. Food service was slow, then the wrong order came first time, although then quickly corrected - leaving me unsure why it was so slow first time. Communication came across frosty when there was any. When the food came, it was distinctly average. It didn't seem as though the "triple cooked chips" had been triple cooked. Also the menu presented in the pub isn't the one online - there's less on offer than advertised. The pub was well decorated, clean throughout. I was hopeful when deciding to eat there, but left knowing I'd be unlikely to go back.
