Stumbled across this lovely cafe today in Dumfries, atmosphere was lovely with all the Christmas decorations up, but I must say the food was fantastic, best pancakes and bacon I have had in Scotland. With the ease of ordering from the self serve screen food was promptly with us. WE WILL BE BACK 🥞

The food was fine, but not the best produce. The floor was incredibly slippery. It's very DIY but not in a quirky way, it looked like an old department store had suddenly dumped new cafe seating in. I wouldn't recommend. Not many options for kids. No veg with kids meals.

Dropped on for food, didn't realize it's a chain restaurant..I think it's an attempt at a comfy seat American diner. Food was not fantastic. We both ordered sandwiches and I ordered a separate side of fries..having paid extra for the fries lost the salad and slaw from my sandwich..the chicken was dry and bread not amazing..the shakes were lovely

Stumbled upon Bob & Berts and wasn't disappointed, loved the look of the cosy welcoming atmosphere, big comfortable armchairs, food was really affordable and quality, lovely festive hot drinks, and staff was really efficient and friendly. Will definitely be back 🫶
