Went for Sunday roast after seeing this place recommended as one of the best places in Edinburgh and it certainly lived up to expectations! Excellent Bloody Mary to start, then an absolutely delicious beef sirloin roast, definitely one of the best I've had in Edinburgh, followed by pineapple tarte tatin, yum! Look forward to my next visit!

Traveling here from America and stumbled into Old Pal after doing some brief searching. A fantastic experience. We decided to stop in for a late dinner. We were greeted by Ben immediately upon entering and everything from there on for the rest of the evening was superb. We started with a couple cocktails, mezcal margaritas to be exact, which were very well made. Nothing extra, nothing over the top, just exactly what the drinks needed, mixed to perfection. The quality of the food is amazing We came on Friday and today for the roasted menu. On Friday we took the chicken schnitzel and the steak Both super tasty and as Greeks our standards are super high food wise. Today,Sunday we took the lamb stuffed shoulder and the porchetta !!! Both were unbelievable tasty !!! Fully recommended!!!
