We stopped in for some pies before kicking off our day. They didn’t disappoint- they were creamy perfection. We got the chicken and mushroom, steak, and Mac and cheese. Highly recommend for a quick grab and go meal at such a reasonable price. And the staff was so lovely 😊

TLDR: Tasty pies of good quality, with a good price, fast pick up for a very fair price. Definitely worth the visit even for just a snack and especially for tourists as it's super easy to reach. Long form: As an German who only has had a British pie in London before, I can't speak of how authentic/ traditional the pies here are... But as "foodie" who enjoyes quality food and has made pies and quiches before myself, I can say that the pies here are very tasty, very fairly priced and seemed to be fresh on two different times we came here during our vacation. If you want to try a Scottish pie in Edinburgh, this is one of the most popular places where you can get served pretty quickly. The pies are served hot, which makes them even better. We tried two kinds: the steak meat one and the Classic pie. The classic scotch pie has beef inside. The pastry is crispy and buttery, and since the filling is quite rich too, it ends up being a pretty heavy and filling bite. The minced meat one felt a little lighter in comparison. Stumbled here on my pie hunt whilst visiting Edinburgh. No regrets!!! Very juicy and flavourful pies. The haggis and steak is a must. Followed strongly by the chicken tikka bake. Lovely view of the street if you like to people watch ahaha.
