The big supermarket is conveniently situated at Meadowbank Shopping Park just off London Road. There are some high street shops: TK Maxx, Poundstretcher, M & S clothes outlet etc with a huge parking area around. Spacious and clean superstore with a clear layout. Pizza, bakery and Lloyd's pharmacy departments. Wide range of alcoholic beverages. However, not many offers are available at the moment, and some products are more expensive than in other supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco for comparison. So there's always room for improvement, indeed.

I hate Sainsbury's, just as I do any large scale exploitative supermarket, but occasional I have to come to this one. I try to get in and out as quick as possible and dodge all of their manipulative traps to get me to spend more. By all means go if you have to but stay aware or they will get you.
