I’ve probably had more coffee in my life than I should admit 😅 But without exaggeration: this was by far the best oat milk cappuccino I’ve ever had anywhere. Doesn’t matter if it was in Germany, Italy, Austria, or now here in Scotland — this one was on another level. I honestly don’t know how they do it, but they’re clearly doing something very right. Café Cave truly lives up to its name. It’s a tiny little place, cozy and unassuming, and maybe that’s exactly what makes it special. Great coffee and friendly and welcoming barista. We ordered flat white and it was in the proper temperature, the taste was bitter and acidic at the same time - really good. No seating area - this is essentially a whole in the wall where you order coffee. Great takeaway experience.

This little cafe is a hidden gem, primarily serving takeaway, but they do have two benches for outdoor seating. It is right opp Moxy Hotel. I enjoyed my morning flat white. It’s smooth with a balanced bean flavour that’s not overly acidic. And I love it serves hot. Tried the vegan nutty granola bar as well, it was average. The two friendly ladies behind the counter made my experience better. This cafe is a great way to start your Scottish morning.
