M&S food hall is a very competitively priced food hall. Great variety of fresh vegetables, many healthy options and variety of meals and individual meats. Bakery is very popular and you better get there early. Great cold drinks selection. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and approachable. A very handy high street store.

I visited this M&S store after a large online order for my holiday was cancelled, so I came into the shop under time pressure to find alternatives. I tried on several pairs of trousers in the fitting rooms. Thought that is normal when you’re unsure of sizing and styles 🤔 When I came out, a manager and what appeared to be a security guard were standing outside. They looked at me, then immediately went into the changing room to check it. No explanation. No conversation. Just scrutiny. Went to pick up Xmas food order on the 22nd December. The desk specifically set up to pick up your order had 2 members of staff..smiling and extremely efficient in their job. We didnt even have to wait..got straight up to the desk...great timing I think ..as it got much busier by the time we had finished our shop. The shop itself was full to bursting point yet the staff kept their cool and worked well and there were no hiccups or waiting for an elusive supervisor to appear. There were of course..the crazy customer who thought they could push in the long queues in front of everyone else..but

Too small. Good selection of M&S foods, plants/flowers & small clothing section. However, any time I'm there it's busy and the chilled foods can be in short supply or finished. Would definitely benefit from an expansion
