I would like to share some important feedback regarding my visit to your café yesterday at around 5:30 pm. When I arrived, the staff had already started cleaning. I ordered an Earl Grey tea and a cinnamon bun. At the time, the staff member serving me (an older British woman) was cleaning the coffee machine using a chemical cleanser while wearing gloves. I politely mentioned that I was not in a rush and that she could wash her hands before preparing my drink, as I was concerned about the cleanser. This branch of Costa can get very noisy so I avoid it if I’m working. Today I had lots to do and found a quiet area. Unfortunately the three staff members seemed more interested in talking to each other. It’s a bit off putting when you feel you are disturbing the staff, rather than them being attentive. Anyway I wanted toast. Many places do not do toast and the few that do struggle to get this simple order right. Seems that this Costa staff just don't understand what is to have IN and what is to TAKE AWAY. Request to have lavender coffee. At 13:25. Not that they were closing. Got it in the plastic cup. I said to the staff that I asked to have it but the lady said "it is okay to have it this way, go" Not satisfied at all. Last time they had a "system down", they could not accept Costa cards. Now they seem to be unable to pour the coffee in a glass. Still can't keep the shop clean. Would not suggest this place to anyone

It is located on the side of the main road. Easy to spot. Parking can be found in one of the inner streets. Lots of seating inside. Service needs improvement for sure. A little more friendliness would be good. Coffee quality is typical Costa fare.
