Wanasa Cafe is a lovely spot located in Winchmore Hill, just a short walk from Winchmore Hill Station. With its Arabic roots, it has a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere, with fun Arabic music playing in the background. The interior is beautifully designed and very eye-catching. Accessibility is great too — there’s a ramp at the entrance, making it wheelchair friendly, and the toilets also appear to cater for wheelchair users. I popped into Wanasa kitchen, I was greeted by a friendly face, I sat down and ordered poached eggs on sourdough toast with a side portion of halloumi my fav with a hot matcha. The food came out very quickly. My food was delicious, the eggs were perfect, the halloumi wasn’t dry at all but really soft and tasty, just like my late Yiayia would make it. I sat there for hours doing some work and making a few calls. I stayed until closing time. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I will definitely be returning. Loved the chicken helim wrap with aioli sauce it was so refreshing and filling too! The service was great and very friendly. The food came out in around 10 minutes and lots of seating available too. The breakfast merguez was slightly too oily and felt a little heavy for me but otherwise I enjoyed my experience at Wanasa and will definitely be returning !!

We used Wanasa Cafe for my daughter’s birthday catering and were very impressed. The food was absolutely lovely and enjoyed by the whole family. Communication with Hiyam in the run-up was great, which made the process very straightforward. On the day of collection, the staff were incredibly helpful and even assisted with loading the food into our car. We have also visited the cafe a number of times for coffee and brunch. We've especially enjoyed the falafel and Wanasa Turkish eggs. Highly recommend for both a visit and for catering!
