We are on the hunt for the best roast dinner around London. So far this is at the bottom of the pile. Ordered lamb and pork. Lamb fat needs rendering down, and the cut was not great a lot of fat and i left half the lamb behind. Pork was okay but underseasoned. Yorkshires were tough and dry. I love potatoes and will almost always finish it even if it's not great but these potatoes can be made into stabvests; it can't be cut through due to how to was prepared. vegetables boiled but under seasoned and under cook. Do not recommend.

Tremendous! We've been to The Spring Tavern many times over the last 15 years, and today, by far, was the best visit for food. Previously we've had minor niggles but boy, oh boy, this was superb from the time we walked in and were greeted to having a main course to salivating at the puddings. Natasha looked after us, very attentive but not intrusive, you never felt you'd been missed or waiting for service. Every dish was perfect, this included 2 fantastic pizzas, a huge & succulent 'dirty' burger and the most indulgent steak & Malbec pie. We thought these dishes were good but the puddings were

In a leafy part of Ewell by the Hogsmill River, it hits the spot with tasty well presented food and a wide selection of drinks. Limited parking in the car park and most streets locally are residents parking only. Bourne Hall Park is across the road and its kid friendly. One part is carpeted and better for if you are hard of hearing/wear hearing aids.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to the Spring Tavern a few times and always been pleased with the service and food. However this time it was of poor standard all round. First of all, when we arrived, we had to wait for almost 10 mins to be seated and the restaurant was empty. We literally had to call. There were staff sitting around having their lunch and all they had to do was to acknowledge and reassure us that we will be attended to soon. Such poor service and aloofness. Then we waited for another 15 mins before anyone came around to take our order. Then another 45 mins for our fo
