Hidden gem in Exeter if you are looking for a good Turkish food and to support small businesses. We have been here several times, we love their Cold Mezze Platter. One of the best hummus I’ve tried. We also ordered their mixed grill, everything was well seasoned and well cooked. They also serve brunch, along with fresh bread and Turkish Coffee/Tea. We ordered scrambled eggs with Turkish sausage and Turkish beef pastrami. Well cooked with fresh ingredients. The service has always been excellent with great atmosphere.

The food was phenomenal from the mezze to the dessert! Everything had awesome flavor!! The limonata and Passion Fruit Mojito was made with care and attention to detail. Everything was fresh and the inside is air conditioned which was very important since we were visiting during unusual heat wave!! Definitely go, don't think about it!

Had a really great experience at Istanbul Restaurant Exeter. The food and drinks were absolutely spot on, everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. The presentation was also really impressive, you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Our server was very friendly and polite, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, a fantastic visit. Definitely 5 stars and I’ll be coming back again!

The aubergine kebab was really great, highly recommended! The Alinazik was also delicious. The meat was very tender and juicy, and it came with mashed aubergines without yogurt, which was new to me, but I totally enjoyed it!
