I was refused entry on match day because I didnt have a student id? Even though I am a student but just didn’t have my student id, Since when do you need to be a student to enter a public pub anyway? I been there previously with my 50 year old dad and 35 year old brother in law and somehow there was no problem but this time when I was with my two other mates english shirts to watch footy as 22 year old men we werent allowed in cuz we didnt have student id🤣🤣 shame really as it ruined my night tbf as I live locally to that place and no where else to go like what

This is probably a great place for a drink; I came for the Yorkshire pudding wrap (as advertised by the Sunday roast sign outside). The only that was available was the roast itself; my friend attempted to order off the menu, but nothing else was available. There are very limited vegetarian options. No coffee either—but £3 for granules… We passed. We waited 35-40 minutes for one roast, despite being one of the only tables. We were debating asking for a refund and getting on with our day. Nice student centric pub in Fallowfield in what looks to be an old church. Was quiet when I visited since it was out of term-time. Can imagine it gets more lively when the students are around. I was drawn in by the £7.50 Sunday roasts and I was genuinely pleasantly surprised at how good it was for the money. They also have pool tables and table tennis, both of which look well looked after.
