Always seem to have a problem with staff in here. The food is alright & drinks come fast however, they seem to take disliking to younger groups drinking in there. Despite always being respectful and never having a problem in other pubs or spoons, we end up with our table getting cut off or staff becoming increasingly rude and intimidating until we feel unwelcome. They don’t have a problem with a rowdier older crowd though however, a few can be lovely.

We were visiting Fareham and were looking for the Crown Inn - JD Wetherspoon for lunch. We had to park in the Fareham shopping center since the street parking only had 1 hour parking. We enjoyed our lunch and the drinks.

Served by James, incredible bloke with friendly service and great chat - really seemed like he loved to be there and made us love to be there, even dropped good advice on the drinks! Kudos to kitchen staff who got our meals out super quick too, thanks Team Crown!
