We visited for my Mum's birthday on Sunday and had the most wonderful experience. From the minute we arrived, we were given a warm welcome and made to feel really valued as guests. AK and her team did a fabulous job - striking the perfect balance between personable and professional, which so many other places fail at. The service team are really attentive, but without being imposing. We enjoyed every course - the Trout starter with wasabi mousse was exceptional. We would not hesitate to recommend the Third Monkey and will certainly be back very soon. Thank you for making it a lovely memo

Short answer: this place is well worth a visit, even if you don’t live in the area. If it’s a nice day, book a table on the terrace. Food was fantastic, Wine and cocktails great, service brilliant. Chef Adam, AK and their team really know their stuff. The Sunday Roast was up there with the tastiest I've ever had. The crispy roast potatoes and delicious gravy were amazing. We had the Baked Alaska Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert, but couldn't finish it as we were so full! The staff were absolutely fantastic! Clearly highly trained as attention to detail was spot on and they were super attentive without being intrusive. With the set menu for 2 courses, one glass of wine and a Mocktail, the final bill was above average once the service charge of 12.5% was added, so I would not visit regularly. If you’re anywhere near Farnham, do yourself a favour and check out Third Monkey — easily one of the best food spots in town. Their roasts are absolutely incredible. I went for the beef with jus (rich, tender, and packed with flavour), while the rest of the family had the chicken — and every single plate came back empty. That says it all. Top-class quality, amazing flavours, and a roast done properly. We’ll definitely be back.
