Our favourite Turkish restaurant for the past 11 years. Had our 2nd date in this venue and been going all the time ever since. Family owned business and you can tell they put their heart and soul into every dish they cook. Super atmosphere perfect for couples, business meetings ,yet amazing for families with children. Food x10 times better and flavoursome than other north east Turkish restaurants we’ve tried so far. Long standing Turkish place opposite Saint Mary's. No where to park unless you want to get ripped off and pay. Food is very simple stuff but at least you can see exactly what you are getting. Everything I tried was well cooked and all simple dishes. The staff were well humoured even with people who were tipsy. They have toilets downstairs.

We reserved a table as read the good reviews from here. A really good independent Turkish restaurant, very chilled and had some nice decorations around the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, chatty and attentive. Some wore fez hats and you could, if asked nicely, got given one to wear and pose with. It was great to be able to take our time and not feel rushed to get rid of us. The food was great, nicely cooked and generous portions.
