Lovely cosy authentic Japanese restaurant with tasty food! Recommend for a quick stop by for lunch or dinner - perfect for couples or even small groups! Great service and staff was so helpful, we are going to go back! The only thing was I thought the food was quite expensive for a local restaurant- wouldn’t expect it to be as expensive as it was!!!

The place is small and cozy. The attention was good and polite. The best of all was the ramen though: This tonkotsu ramen must be the best one I've ever had! Tasty, thick broth, the nori wasn't overpowering (I don't really like it and I actually enjoyed it in this ramen), and the tonkotsu was so soft it fell apart. Totally recommended!!

We've been to a few Taro restaurants now and always enjoy our visit to each one. The staff are so welcoming and professional in Finchley Central. The food is amazing. We don't go anywhere else for sushi now than Taro. The seaweed salad is delicious too. Could eat it every day. The restaurant and toilets are always immaculately clean too. 100% recommended

Excellent small restaurant. Went at lunchtime on a Friday, less crowded. Parking is mostly on the street around the corner (which is charged for) as parking on the main road is banned. Excellent tasty sashimi - I could have sat there all afternoon just eating just that - and terrific seafood ramen. Big portion - good value for money. Would go again!
