If I could give it zero star at all, I would. I thought this would be a nice place to have our brunch as we were exploring Folkestone. It turned out we had one of the most horrible cafe experiences we’ve ever had. It was already 11am or just past, and they didn’t have half the things in their menu. We ordered a tuna melt and a mozzarella/tomato/basil toastie. (But there were no tomatoes available) They were horrible, you only need the images to show how horrid these were. Unforgivable given how much they were charging for what was supposed to be food. The Tuna Melt didn’t even have any tuna! W

Visited the cafe 21 may 2026. A lovely cafe on the beach the sun was shining. There were a couple of customers inside eating and 2 ladies outside eating. We ordered a tuna melt toastie and a jumbo sausage hot dog with onions. The 2 ladies serving were friendly but were talking a lot and loudly between them selves. We sat outside enjoying the sun and view of the sea. Patiently waiting for our lunch. The 2 members if staff were continuously chatting very loud. Omg they can talk for the world 20 minutes later. Toasty I could have made better for cheaper at home £7.90 for that privilege and took 25 mins when it was very quiet. High chair for kid was dirty and no strap so was sliding out the entire time. Highlight of our visit was the staff 5 on we counted. Took there brakes next to our table next to us and weren’t exactly quite as 2 of them had a moan about the other 3 that where taking forever to do anything and how little they where doing. Also while said 2 where on there brake they watche me one of the other 3 serve some customers, as he said serving he couldn’t find a notepad pen or anything else

Initially met with a friendly lady who took our order. Food was tasty and toilets facilities were clean which is why I am giving 3 ***s. Unfortunately the high chair we were given was filthy and sandy - had to clean it myself. Also jacket potatoes were advertised as being served with garnish and crisps. Only got a side salad. When we enquired about the missing crisps as advertised, we were given a small ice-cream tub with a few crisps considering we had ordered 4 adult sized jacket potatoes. The server also added 'we don't usually serve jacket potatoes with crisps' which made it sound like we
