Food was great, vibe was great, staff were great. The only reason it's not 5 star is because some of the food was a little too salty for me and the table/space was a wee bit compact where we were seated, I felt a little out in the open but I understand it's a small place with limited room. The variety and quality was there but the saltiness was a bit overbearing on some of the dishes. The decor with the buckfast bottles was great fun. Staff were super friendly too. The Macaroni Cheese (Mac n Cheese) was absolutely delicious, super cheesy and impressed my girlfriend which is hard to do haha. Al

First time trying and did not disappoint, although we did end up with three take away tubs as we ordered far too much. Lower east side toastie unreall. Makes Katz deli look terrible. We stumbled upon Smokey’s by chance on an overnight stay in Glasgow. The street art and colourful decor made it fun and inviting, and family friendly. I ordered the Chicken Dippin and this was hands down one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had, dippin a burger into delicious curry sauce and crispy onion was next level. Even my fussy 9 yr old devoured his cheeseburger. Service was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, the whole place had just a really good vibe, and there’s plenty of vego/vegan options. It’s no surprise it won best burgers. Highly recommend!
