As a long time served customer of the old Admiral, this was my first visit to the new Admiral Woods, (sadly due to ill health). Huge #Thankyou to the staff, who from the minute we arrived, made sure that when we went down to the Woods today, we were sure of the Bestistist Time, No Surprise. visited on a busy Friday lunchtime without a booking, there's a lot of office types in for lunch but got a table for 2 quite quickly. menu looked good with a good selection of specials. we went for the philly cheese steak and the American hot mac'n' cheese. both were delicious and a pint and a glass of wine. staff were very friendly even though you could tell they were extremely busy. service was great and all for under £40. will definitely be back again to try more of the varieties of mac'n' cheese

We stopped in for a quick bite before we left Glasgow and had a really nice dinner. I think they recently changed owners. I had a hankering for a salad and they delivered on that hankering. Their goat cheese beetroot salad was delicious. Tons of goat cheese. I also got a side of their mac, which was very tasty. My husband got the chicken burger which he really enjoyed. The fries were great. Our server was so funny and had great recommendations.
