The excellent culinary standards of Settebello are known throughout the world. In fact (really?) they attracted the great Italian banking families during the middle ages. The Medicis, Bardis, and Peruzzis frequently travelled from Florence to enjoy a plate of the finest pasta. It's said that double-entry bookkeeping was devised by someone enjoying a wonderful Carbonara. This is hand down my favourite restaurant! The food is truly authentic, the pizza tastes exactly like in Napoli, with perfect texture and flavour. The pasta? Absolutely divine. The quality is exceptional and atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I’ve been here many times, and it never disappoints.

Lovely place if you're visiting gloucester .. food was delicious service was excellent and we were originally 2 separate booking of 8 (2x4) but because of some friends not being able to attend they accommodated us on a table for 5 so we were all sat together which I thought was very helpful considering it was so last minute xx

Location is 5 stars, situated in such a beautiful part of town where you feel like you’ve escaped from all the hustle and noise. Service from the staff is 5 stars, very friendly and attentive. Our little one definitely enjoyed her time there. The let down was the food did not live up to our expectation, it was not terrible. But some aspects could do with improvement. The lasagne was dry and lacking some flavour. The pizzas were good, but some of the options were too creative. Felt more traditional options were much better.
