What a little gem I love Turkish food.Baran certainly delivers.I loved the perfect offering of fresh bread..once you have had your fill of carbs you are already sold.I went for the vegetarian platter and it did not disappoint.I have to say am so used to the granular textured falafels from fastfood chains and am not a fan of the mushy ones.While the falafel was granular I somehow felt it was verging on overfried.But loved the texture and am being honest here. Arrived around 9:15 p.m., despite Google saying they close at 10:30 p.m., and was told they were closed—a "joke," apparently. Felt rather rushed. The ambience is good, and the staff were friendly. However, the food was disappointing. The server even checked with the chef if they could manage our chicken orders, which was a bit concerning. The chicken doner was dry and cold, and the chicken wrap was also inedible due to being cold and dry. Of course, we couldn't finish it and had to pack it to go home and reheat it.
