From start to finish everything was perfect. For starters, I had the mushroom & goats cheese dish and it was absolutely gorgeous - full of flavour and beautifully cooked. My partner had the crispy fried skins and the portion size was amazing, plus the dips were absolutely lovely! For mains we had the Italiano pizza and wow… honestly one of the nicest pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The location of the restaurant being in an old church is stunning and the design of the restaurant is lovely including the projections of light all over the walls creating a cosy feel. The waiting staff were also very accommodating throughout service. Not coming too often but not coming too little. Beautiful establishment. Went on a Saturday for dinner. The food was very mid and there was a strong paste-like taste in the prawn linguine. When I tried to bring this to the attention of the manager, he interrupted me before I could fully explain my concern and said: “There’s nothing I can do now as the kitchen is closed, you’ve been taking pictures and now you have an issue with the food. It’s Father’s Day tomorrow and I want my staff to close early. If you don’t want to pay I won’t charge you for the food.” At no point did I say I did not want to pay for the meal.
