I visited the Reliance Fish Restaurant today. High value production values on the decor, furniture and overall look of the premises. Kim served my friend and myself and was very friendly, helpful and attentive. I opted for Haddock, Chips, a Bread roll and Mushy Peas. My friend had Cod and Chips with Mushy Peas. The Chips were nigh on perfection! very tasty, moreish and piping hot. My Haddock didn’t have the rich, strong flavour that I’m used to and was a little over cooked for my liking! but that’s just my preference. Definitely not just any old fish n chip shop. We have just spent another Saturday evening being entertained by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. We have seen a number of these great tribute acts over the last 18 months and with the lovely fresh fish meal what's not to like. Hope to get at least another visit in before Christmas and hopefully a second if a cancellation becomes available.
