We switched our table as my wife didn't want to sit under the air conditioning and the staff were more than willing to assist with the request. I had dinner at this restaurant a few nights ago, and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience in every way. As soon as you walk in, you immediately notice the warm and elegant atmosphere. We spoke to the staff about our experience on the night, but there was no attempt to make things right. No hello/welcome when we arrived (2 people) and we were pointed to a table. Whilst we were looking at the menu a woman abruptly asked if we had booked (we hadn't) and the service got increasingly cold and hostile from there. Not one word was spoken to us other than being rushed through courses. Couples before us had not received their main and we had already finished. Great service from the owners and the staff, managed to get us a table on a very busy Saturday night, food was excellent, the lobster linguini was delicious, a good selections of wines and the atmosphere was brilliant, a Tiramisu with an espresso and a brandy to finish it off, perfect.
