The short review about True North is that we can not find fault. Simple as. 6 of us dined here on Saturday 7th of February. We were originally going to be a table of 4, but happened to meet 2 other members of our family who had booked to eat here unbeknown to us. After asking the young man who greeted us at the door if it would be possible to enable our 2 family members to join us and make it a table of 6 he checked and with no more hesitation he had us seated at a great table. My friend and I had Sunday lunch here yesterday. It was delicious, perfectly cooked and the Yorkshire pud was huge! Best I’ve had in a while and better they a good few so called Gastro pubs I’ve been too in the past. Also very welcoming and attentive smiley waters too! Well done all round. Three of us went for Saturday lunch. The service was extremely friendly and quick, the locally brewed beer was tasty and the food was excellent. Two of us had the steak and fries and the other had the chicken burger and both meals were extremely tasty and well cooked. I've knocked one off for atmosphere as the room is a bit dark due to not having many windows (although it's in a mill which is probably a listed building)

Every time we have eaten here it’s been outstanding. They are very accommodating of gluten free options. The service is spot on and they have just the right balance of input. Will be going again. The sea trout was cooked very well
