Lovely tearoom away from the crowds.Sedate and select my Hoe and old fashioned tea room should be. Most of the items home made and excellent by quality. Service charming and friendly . Lovely for a meet up for people of a certain age who wants good value and a nice menu in clean ,bright surroundings. Love the fact that speciality teas are loose leaf. Just one thing it is not disabled friendly for those less mobile and it has no lift. Located above Farrah's sweet shop near the Crown hotel. Also do a lovely afternoon tea half the price of Bettys..You can reserve a table in advance by telephone..

Tasty savoury and sweet options available at Palm Court & a very good selection of GF foods. Highly recommend the Rarebit on seeded bread with bacon followed by coffee and walnut cake. My husband impressed with GF ham & cheese toastie followed by GF chocolate cake thank you to all staff for attention and care given to food intolerances really appreciate your service, also appreciate excellent customer service shown by Isaac

Worth the climb up the stairs had the beans&cheese on toast lovely. My husband had a blt. All very nice and served with smile staff very pleasant. Even thou we was up on top floor we didn't feel ignored we were seen to quickly. A lady in the Halifax bank had recommended this cafe as her daughter works here so thankyou for that
