Fantastic little pub. Excellent service from all staff, hardly any wait for food that came out hot and fresh, all food was delicious and well cooked. Good selection on the menu and cosy vibes within the pub. Would recommend booking online as its not a huge place and imagine it does get busy at peak times. Easy to use website for booking. Would recommend if you are in the area. Perfect if staying at "The Cud Life" campsite as this is an easy walk via a public footpath over fields from the site.

Brilliant little gem of a pub . The owner is so welcoming and friendly, great atmosphere in pub too. We stopped in our campervan, overnight so we could meet up with friends in Harrogate town centre. Bus stop is outside across road from pub £3 single to town centre. We had lunch in the Knox which was absolutely fantastic and very tasty 🤤 and a few beers very good prices too. We would recommend this as a really good stopover if your in your Campervan 🙌👍

First time in this pub for many years , had a Sunday lunch today , it really was lovely ! It was served nice and hot , really well presented , lovely tender roast beef and my favourite Mash potatoes a lot of places doing lunch don’t bother with the mash which is my favourite bit 😊 The staff behind the bar and on the floor were lovely , friendly and warm and looked fab . Thank you for a great dinner at £13.50 it was good deal , anyone wanting a few meats paid a little bit more . Thank you ☺️

A lovely pub serving excellent food. We had Sunday roast. The beer garden looked lovely but it was a bit too windy and chilly (Storm Dave) so we stopped indoors.
