Hatfield Premier Inn has started a refurbishment programme and the new restaurant is great. The food was excellent. I had the mixed grill which was cooked and presented perfectly by Connor the chef. It was also the personal touch as Connor was keen to ensure that guests had enjoyed their food. It mattered to him that guests got the best food experience. Standard premier inn. You know what your getting. Room seemed fine. Staff were friendly, although bit of a wait. Only downside for us was the corridor just before our room smelt of cigarette smoke quite badly.
