Of all the high street/chain coffee shops Caffe Nero has by far and away the best coffee. They make it properly; which takes more time than other places, and thus sometimes there's a queue during busy times - but that's life! All of the staff in the Haywards Heath branch are excellent. They make great coffee, they work hard and stay calm even when it gets busy - plus they're all really friendly and always happy to have a quick chat or a joke with customers. This is every time we go in, no matter who is working there

I am very disappointed by the staff at this store. A single mum’s young child accidentally spilled popcorn on the floor. Instead of leaving it for staff, she politely asked for a dustpan and brush and started cleaning it up herself while also trying to manage her child, who was clearly playing up. A young female member of staff approached her and spoke in a rude and abrupt manner. The mum apologised and explained that she was still sweeping while dealing with her child, but the staff member grabbed the broom from her and said she needed it done. I had a disappointing experience at Caffè Nero recently due to poor customer service. We ordered our usual drinks along with two babyccinos for children, and paid extra (60p each!!!!) for additional marshmallows for the children. Normally, other staff members are quite generous with the portions, which is part of why we don’t mind paying the extra charge. However, the staff member serving us was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. He insisted that other staff give “too much” and that his portion was the correct or recommended amount. That would have been understandable if it were at least cons

great drinks, great atmosphere. But its just this one barista who worked at the counter today who didn't have pleasant tone and rushed us (me and my mother) i get it may be hard to deal with many customers in a day but you should still always try to set a good example
