The pub itself is wonderful, the beer garden even better. However this experience was ruined by a curly haired, blonde, bar tender that seemed to shy away from bar tending everytime we went near the bar. He would actively walk around the bar to avoid us, while we stood waiting for drinks which was very frustrating, as it's not the standard of service usually given at this lovely pub.

Good pub, old school culture, bit of vibes for the young, middle aged and senior punters. Good band Friday and Saturday. Keith? Young lad with black hair. He went his way out for me and my partner finding me a cocktail id like. He was very busy with the bar and still made time for me to let me know what I would’ve liked.

Was resting my calf on a bar stool (shoe nowhere near the cushion) nicely relaxed watching another United masterclass. Got shouted at from the bar by two ladies to take my leg off the stool, for what reason(?) I dont know, there was no shortage of seating and a number of unoccupied stools. Completely soured my experience. This is one of the ladies an hour or so later - flagrant hypocrisy, clear red card, won't be returning
