Located on a main road so not the easiest for parking. Not a lot of seating feom what we could see but managed to get a table straight away. We tried 2 dishes feom the chefs specialities but they also offer the common dishes such as madras, bhuna etc. Food was delicious both curries were full of depth and flavour. We found the naan dry with a strong chemical smell hence only 4 stars.

A very good Indian Eatery in Hereford. I’ve eaten at Mowchak many times over the last few years, both in the restaurant and takeaway. The food has always been of an excellent standard - well cooked and seasoned and generous in portion. The service has always been excellent. The owner is extremely personable, taking the time to chat and charm and makes it a very welcoming experience. Some of the other waiters could benefit from being a bit more attentive though, as we were waiting to make our order for a while and were not given plates for our poppadum. I'd 100% recommend Mowchak if you're looking for great Indian food! Was very relaxed, clean and modern inside. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend the Bombay special – can't remember exactly what it was called but it had chicken tikka and a delicious sauce full of spices.
