Food was fantastic,I had a mushroom pie with gravy and skinny chips,it was really tasty and I would definitely have again. We booked a table and got there early thankfully,we could choose where we sat . As we were leaving I couldn't see an empty table anywhere. The service was good and quick , and the staff were friendly. I would definitely go again.... Only negative point was the tables could do with a revarnish. They even had a jar with dog biscuits in for and 4 legged visitors and they bring a bowl of water for them also .

Excellent place for locally sourced quality food. All freshly cooked. Great value for money. 2 course lunch menu for £14.95. Starter and main or main and dessert. Exceptional value for money. Very warm welcome from all of the staff from the moment you walk through the door until you leave. The pub is cosy and clean. If you want Exceptional food for great value The Swan is the place to go. Definitely a 5* plus rating all round.

Really enjoyed our meal, especially the apple pie. We were served by a lovely young lady who could not do enough for us. Nice little garden area, only gave 4 stars for atmosphere , as interior could do with updating and some new cutlery. Easy parking and close to town. Highly recommend, we will be back.
