Had a large group booked on a Saturday evening.. As was a large group they arranged a pre order for our meals so they could all come out at the same time. we all got our meals soon after arrived, and they called out names rather than trying to remember what we had pre-ordered. Was a really good atmosphere and the staff were fantastic. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, really good value for money and good portion sizes.

I was in Hitchin and needed something to eat and drink whilst I hung around between appointments. Whilst walking into town I saw Granello Lounge and decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. The layout is good and quite cosy, customer service was very good and the Byron Bay brunch was very tasty. The non alcoholic cocktail I ordered had a lot of ice in it meaning there wasn't much drink but I cannot fault the taste of anything I ordered. It was excellent in terms of the flavours. I visited Granello Lounge this evening with a couple of friends for a meet up and a bite to eat. I had a brilliant evening - it's spotlessly clean, a bit quirky with a mix of furniture and art which I enjoyed, some live music, but still quiet enough to have a conversation. The food was really good - reasonably priced considering the location and the cost of running a place like this nowadays - and you can look through the hatch into the kitchen and see that it's immaculate and very professionally run. Fantastic, friendly, and professional service from all the front-of-house staff on shift this afternoon. The two ladies and the male chef were welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to accommodate my requested changes and creating an amazing lunch. My son also thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast.
