We were looking for a place to eat authentic fish and chips on a rainy day and stumbled across this restaurant/bar because a local man recommended it to us after having troubles finding an establishment who offers food shortly before dinner timer since most of the other shops still had their kitchen closed. I usually am vegetarian but chose to try the fish and chips option since I was on holiday and wow, I was amazed. My mother also chose the same dish and us both loved it. We found the place via a recommendation of a friend who used to live near Kentish Town and it didn't disappoint at all. They have a small but comprehensive Thai menu and the food was really good. I've been here three times now and held off posting a review until now. It's a lovely pub with lots of character - great beer garden, good range of well conditioned real ales and fantastic Thai food. BUT... the bar is tiny, there are too many stools around it which make the space to order drinks very narrow, and to exacerbate this the bar staff have pretty much all been clueless each time I've visited. If you're having to ask "Who's next ?" more than once a shift I'm afraid you don't know how to do your job 🙈

The Pineapple is a proper wee pub with bags of character and a wonderfully easy-going atmosphere.
