A large Hall and Woodhouse pub with three spacious bar / restaurant areas and a garden at the back and the side. Despite being in a very old building, I thought the interior was rather bland compared to what I remember from the former King and Barnes days (though there is still an old clock in the corridor from that time). We did not eat here so I have not commented on food.

We had our staff Christmas meal and get together here and it was absolutely lovely. The staff are super friendly, very helpful and very professional. The barman was super friendly too and service absolutely spot on. What a lovely pub to come to with friends, family or just work colleagues. The atmosphere is great, it has a lovely feel, drinks are perfect too.

Visited Saturday evening, taken to our seats and order taken, food was brought and was absolutely amazing. That's where the good review ends, no staff visible to order more drinks and a pudding, we could here her chatting with the chefs, then when coming to pay we had to walk around to try and find someone. Eventually paid and it was when we where leaving that we realised they had added a service charge of over £5, a tip is something you give if you have had a great experience, we didn't, this is England not America, we should have been asked regarding the service charge, this place has
