I've not been here since I moved from Newton and I used to love it, but today was not a good visit at all. Firstly, the positives: My wife loved her Lamb Shank. The latte was nice. I ordered the steak (medium rare, of course). When it came to the table the steak was drowning in a plate of blood, the chef had not rendered the fat, cut any of it off, but worst of all the steak had not rested, this evident by the amount of blood on my plate. The girl took it back and 2 minutes later brought out the same steak with a wiped plate. I was hungry as we'd been out walking all day so I had to make do.

Booked a table last minute on our way over to North Wales from Nottinghamshire today 13th July. Had sunday roast beef with all the trimmings. Delicious. Would have liked extra gravy as I ran out. Will be recommending to friends and family if they travel this way.
