So, there's been quite a bit of hype around Mr T's, and now that the excitement has settled a little, we finally decided to give the Ilford branch a try. Being a franchise with several locations around the country, I'm sure every branch has its own character, but this review is purely based on our experience here. First impressions were positive. Rihaan and Yasmine, he’s such a lovely young man. Helped us through the menu and had great customer service too. He was super helpful and kind to us. He deserved a tip/raise. Whenever I go to a fast-food restaurant I never usually interact with the staff as they are always busy but at Mr.ts even if they are busy they make sure they have time for us. Only issue for me was the dinner being a bit too soggy. Other than that it was a great place They should be a tipping option in the till. Finally got round to Mr T’s in Ilford. First impressions were solid—the place has a cool aesthetic, plenty of seating, and the service was fairly quick without a long wait for food. I ordered the chicken dynamite toastie, peri fries, mango juice, a lemon mojito, and a cornflakes tart. Starting with the drinks: both were really enjoyable, especially the mocktail. We had a family takeaway for 4 people. First impressions were good. So we had high hopes. Really impressed by self checkout giving all options to request extra items or to request no lettuce or no onions. Ordered a Combo Stack burger without lettuce, but it arrived with lettuce anyway. Such a simple instruction, yet completely ignored. It ruined the meal and the mood for everyone. Pictures attached. Did notice staff working in the kitchen area without gloves. Not sure about hygiene standards either. Extremely disappointing experience. Would not recommend it to anyone.
