My new favourite spot! In only few weeks I have been there probably 4-5 times - planning on trying everything on menu! Brunches to die for, menu has so many choices yet not overwhelming or overcomplicated. So far my favourite is steak and egg brunch! Poached eggs are just perfect 👌 great mocktails and freshly made juices. All that for a great price. The egg and sausage baps (online order only) are so nice and reasonably priced. Customer service is amazing too, so friendly and polite. Pulled beef nachos starter were amazing. Couldn’t fault at all. I wasn’t too fond of the single platter however. Everything was squashed onto one plate and therefore was difficult to eat. Perhaps a bigger / separate plate. Regarding taste- the salad, rice, and chips didn’t seem fresh (we went on a Wednesday evening). Hoping this was just a one off. I visited The Connaught for breakfast and ordered the Big Breakfast, which included two sausages, two eggs, two rashers of bacon, beans, fruit, and two slices of sourdough toast. Everything was cooked well and tasted great – I had no complaints at all. My wife chose the Mediterranean Breakfast, which came with sucuk sausage, halloumi, and cheese. The sucuk was particularly flavourful, and the whole dish was very tasty. There are times when all the photos on Instagram and reviews simply does not do any justice. More pretty than substance, however, I have been very pleasantly impressed with the quality of the food and beautiful presentation. We had brunch and the restaurant was relatively busy at 10:45, definitely got busier after 11:00 with patrons waiting outside. It’s a small place and in demand.
