Supurb dinner for 4 last night, the food, and I will allow the pictures to speak for themselves) service and staff were all above the norm. We made a reservation over a month ago from the states, but met another couple on our travels we wished to join us. We were told there was no way to increase the number in our party, but a cancellation came up and Shannon emailed me at once they could accommodate us. While in inverness, this restaurant must be one of the places to make reservation. Im sure there are others but what a fabulous place. I had tge best tomato soup. Yes, tomato soup. Friendly staff and delicious food. Well presented. Absolutely enjoyed it. Definitely make reservations.

Rocpool was okay. Service was averave but not attentive. Scallop and chorizo was excellent, perfectly seared and prepared. Venison was ok, the haggis and sauce were terrific. Halibut was thin and slightly over cooked. Serving sizes were large and plating was strong. It was an ok stop.

I understand why they are fully booked. From the starters to the desserts, everything we ordered was delicious. I would highly recommend the seafood dishes as I think they are clearly the star of the menu.
