I use it for food shopping but there's plenty of other stuff including a nice cafe. The bakery is good here and I'm a fan of their fruit cordials. Everyone should visit occasionally at least. The cafe On the top floor the cafe is a treat. You'll find plenty of tables but don't be fooled it can be busy. Staff know what they are doing and that makes a difference. I enjoy an americano and cheese scone usually although the croissants are great too. Don't tell anyone but it's reasonably priced too.

Hi M&S Westgate Ipswich, I would like to report a very unpleasant experience I had today, Saturday May 16, near closing time. I almost bumped into a member of staff — a tall lady wearing a green M&S dress uniform and glasses. I do not know her name. I was startled by the way she reacted to me. I immediately said sorry, but she appeared angry and responded aggressively, saying “what, what?” while looking very upset. This Marks and Spencer’s is extremely spacious and wheelchair friendly. It has lifts located around the building.There are self-service checkouts which moves fairly quickly. There is always a lovely selection of sweets and chocolates to satisfy all your chocolate cravings and a delicious selection of baked goods from fresh bread to tasty looking donuts. The fruit is always fresh and juicy and the rosiest shade of red.Their are escalators and stairs to go up to 1 first which women and children clothing are located on and second floor for men’s. M&S Foods in Ipswich is located on the second floor, offering a warm and cozy environment. There’s a lift or stairs available to get upstairs, making it accessible for everyone. After shopping downstairs, I decided to treat myself to some coffee to recharge. I chose the carrot cake and banana bread. The carrot cake was absolutely divine—so good that I forgot to take a picture before devouring it! It definitely deserves 5 stars. The banana bread was tasty as well, though I preferred the carrot cake. The staff member who served us was extremely polite and even mentioned that we were the nicest
