Nearly every single order has been overcooked and burnt chips this week. Just chips scratching. So disappointing because the food is meant to be cooked well especially chips from a fish and chip shop!!! I’ve never seen chips so dark. If you’re not getting the chips right then truthfully you shouldn’t be selling them as a main dish. They’re actually darker in reality, the photo doesn’t show the true burnt nature of the chips. They also overloaded it with sharp scraps of chips - the burnt and charred smalls pieces. I had more burnt bits than actual chunky chips to eat. Absolutely disgraceful. O

Wow. Genuinely in shock. For context I’m from the south of the Uk.. I’ve never experienced such amazing portions of food and lightning speed service! This is what it is about, the front of house chap was so attentive and even asked the person in my group if they wanted gluten free vinegar as they had the gluten free option.. we didn’t know gluten free vinegar existed! The food was gorgeous, all amenities laid out on the tables ready for you to choose salt, pepper sauces. The express choice of a meal and drink and either chip butty or mushy peas is amazing.
