I love this garden centre, 97% of all the perennials I’ve bought (and I’ve bought a lot!) have not died. Great for Christmas decs and my dog loves going shopping there too, straight to the pet section! I like the drive thru for compost, open every day of the week and just weekends in the winter. There is a Pavers shoe shop too, and some clothing, kitchen items and food

After visiting Notcutts at Maidstone and feeling disappointed we decided to go to Longacres Garden Centre at Bybrook Barn Ashford. Oh my what a difference!! Instead of the layout and displays looking tired and boring as at Notcutts, everything was displayed with great care and professionalism. So much to see and take in, followed by a meal in the small restaurant. I can highly recommend it. Worth a visit if you are in the area. A lovely selection of plants, pots, substrate. We also came for the aquatics shop which offers lots of information around aquatic care. Tanks were well maintained and a varied selection of fish species - clearly marked by cold water/tropical. May only disappointment was the very limited choice on offer at the cafe. We've been twice now and the selection is limited. Lots of blue badge parking. Fairly accessable, some aisles may be tricky with a wheelchair.

3 stars are for the restaurant in this otherwise lovely garden centre! Coffee and cake very tasty but the two members of staff - so miserable! Not a glimmer of a smile and very curt. Definitely in the wrong job! Spoils an otherwise nice restaurant.
