One of my daughter’s absolute favourite places in Hull is Cafe Gelato. It’s conveniently located close to her school, and almost every time I pick her up, she insists we stop by and honestly, I can see why. She especially loves their pizza and burgers, and their ice cream is a real highlight. They offer a wide variety of flavours, so there’s always something new to try, which keeps her excited every visit. The place has a nice, relaxed café vibe perfect for a quick bite or a casual treat after school. If you enjoy café-style food and have a sweet tooth, this is definitely worth a visit. Highly

I am a long time customer of this cafe. I came in yesterday for a coffee as I work 12 hour shifts. I was in the queue and finally went to place an order. I stuttered when I said what I wanted to order so the young girl on the till told me to step to the side and let someone else order. She they proceeded to serve 3 other people and took an awful tone with me. I left the cafe without ordering and will not be returning again. Visited gelatos a few times. Today was a treat for my grandchildren. The table we sat at needed wiping. Didn't get wiped. There was ice cream wafers on the seat near my granddaughter. The floor underneath our seat was full of food. Had to ask for a glass for our drinks. Bueno dough was nice. 2 pizzas.crusts were very dry. Altogether not a great visit.

As a long-standing customer, I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received recently. I arrived at 9:30pm simply to order a Turkish tea. The café closes at 10:00 pm, yet I was immediately spoken to rudely by a blonde staff member who served me, she insisted it was “takeaway only” and made it clear she did not want customers sitting in, despite the café still being open. We know the closing time as I have been visiting this café for many years. Her behaviour was confrontational, disrespectful, and entirely inappropriate.
