Great breakfast at Mama’s Cafe! The full English was exactly what we needed, the prices are affordable. Good portion depending on what you order. Hulia was such a lovely lady, very kind and professional. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect if you want a bit of variety. Fully English and veggie version went down very well - don't be deceived by the description of 'small'. Then there were pancakes, and Turkish and a Sri Lankan curry breakfast (magnificent). Coffee was huge and magnificent- no airs and graces. Very good value and the style of a traditional English breakfast cafe. Probably 16 covers or so. A proper gem.

Got the breakfast stack here and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. A hidden gem on the streets of London if this was my last meal on Earth I'd leave the world happy. Do yourself a favor and get your breakfast here if you are ever in the area. Or travel to go here, it's worth it.

Early Tuesday morning, stumbling down Waterloo Road and seeing this charming cafe. Walked on in and the owner greeted me and let me look at the menu which admittedly I spent way too long doing but it happens when one is not caffeinated. Ordered a cappuccino and ham and cheese toasitie, spoke with the owner while all this was getting made and his a great conversationalist. When the toastie was prepped and cappuccino made, I was delighted at how homely both were and delicious. The bread was toasted to perfection, lots of cheese and ham but not too salty.
